Thy Kingdom Come - join us at noon for 15 minutes for daily online prayers

Praying The Lord’s Prayer

"So I say to you: ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives;
the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened" — Luke 11:9-10

Our Father in heaven
Hallowed be your name
Your will be done and your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven
Give us today our daily bread
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil
For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever

Our Father in heaven

  • Worship God; perhaps listen to a song or hymn; or read a praise psalm

Hallowed be your name

  • Give thanks for who God is and what He gives us; remember God’s faithfulness to you

Your will be done and your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven

  • Pray for God’s love to direct all of our relationships and conversations where we live and work so that many will encounter Jesus

  • Ask for our homes and churches to become places where more people of all ages discover God’s love and mercy

Give us today our daily bread

  • Pray for those who are vulnerable in the community to be reached by God’s love

  • Ask for God’s provision for all those working to bring in His kingdom in the community

Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us

  • Confess the times when you have not reached out with love; when your heart has been fearful

  • Ask for new boldness to talk about the difference Jesus has made in your life

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil

  • Pray into some of the needs of our community

  • Ask God to show you 5 people to pray for so they may encounter Jesus

For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever

  • Pray for a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit on His church this Pentecost season

  • Pray that many people will discover the truth about Jesus across our nation

Why not finish by praying a blessing on every church and every household in our community:
“May the Lord bless you and keep you,
The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace”
Numbers 6:24-26
