A quiz night like no other. With seven teams prepared to do battle for the coveted prize of a team photo on our church’s web site – oh, and not to mention the tin of Roses chocolates!
As teams started to get comfortable, the tables were laid up with brain fuel, ranging from a sizeable cheese platter to take away pizzas.
Competition was intense as the teams jostled for position during each of the ten rounds. Laughter was heard at regular intervals suggesting some were not taking things too seriously and having real fun at the same time.
As the evening drew to a close, a clear lead started to open up, and Teddy Boys and Girls went on to win with an impressive score of 98. Barmy Army secured an almost as impressive 64, good enough to secure the wooden spoon!
A thoroughly enjoyable evening which has set the stage for the follow up quiz on Friday October 7th. (Mark)
