With cunning questions set by Mark and his beautiful wife Kay, six teams sat down to compete for the evening’s amazing star prize.

Starting with friendly chat and banter - and a glass of wine - there soon developed a competitive edge; we can’t say from whom but he is always at the front of church on Sundays!

At the end of a titanic struggle two teams were tied for the amazing first prize, and the chance to become the face of Burpham church for the week, a situation quickly resolved by Mark’s tie-breaker (How many eggs does the average hen lay in a year?), with the Quality not Quantity team winning the amazing first prize – a tin of sweets!

A great evening with the prospect of more to come.
