We are a light hearted group that has been in existence for many years.
Over the years we have developed a liking for the Eddie Askew books as they have a short Bible reading which we consider first then move to Eddie's look at its relevance to daily life.
The final part is one of Eddie's poems capturing his thoughts and bringing it all together.
His books are illustrated with his own water colour paintings.
It is surprising how much discussion we can get from what appears to be a very simple article.
We take it in turns to start the meeting with a short prayer maybe a brief chat about how
the article relates to our own life and a choice of appropriate music.
The meeting ends with a cup of tea and biscuits.
We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at 2.15 pm.
