The outside of this, our other building is, at the moment, rather in need of refurbishment and this is being planned as part of our improvement programme.


But it’s what goes on inside that matters and here and the refurbished centre alongside there are different Sunday services, plus activities (on Sunday and in the week) for children and older young people, families and adults.

The Church of The Holy Spirit (CHS)

Is where most of our services and other activities take place.


One phase of our refurbishing work, including the main hall, has been completed and we plan (See Burpham Futures) (see latest bulletin-Dec 2011), to start more work soon to complete the building which will then better enable us to serve our local community.

The Vision

We want the Church of the Holy Spirit to be :

•  A place where children    and adults can learn,    play and grow in faith    together in a light,    attractive and child-    friendly space.

• A place where older    people can have easy    access and comfortable    surroundings to meet    one another in fellowship.

• A place with properly    equipped resources so that    groups can meet, and learn    and grow together in    understanding.

• A place where the church    family can enjoy meeting    and eating together, and    welcome those who are    coming into the life of the    church.
