Burpham Futures -
Building project, phase 2
Building Project plans as shown in Church on 22nd January, 2012
On Sunday 22nd January plans were shown at CHS of the proposals for Phase 2 of our improvements.
All the drawings and plans listed in this section have been
prepared by and are copyright © of our architects: Gerry Lytle Associates.
The scale of the drawings is not indicated on these copies for the web site.
The Vision
We want the Church of the Holy Spirit to be :
• A place where children and adults can learn, play and grow in faith together
in a light, attractive and child-
• A place where older people can have easy access and comfortable surroundings to meet one another in fellowship.
• A place with properly equipped resources so that groups can meet, and learn and grow together in understanding.
• A place where the church family can enjoy meeting and eating together, and welcome those who are coming into the life of the church.
These are some of the main plans, elevations and sections showing the next (second) phase of our building improvements which were submitted as part of our planning application just before Christmas.
It is hoped that a planning decision will be reached in
mid-
At the same time we need a "Faculty" approving our plans from the Church of England, and the same information has been submitted for that. We understand our proposals already have the support of the Diocesan Advisory Committee.
We have close to half the overall funding we need for these works and will continue
our fund-
